This is an awesome laptop. The performance is amazing, and the built quality and aesthetics that Sony put into this unit is worth the extra price. I have had no problems, Vista loads in around 39.8 seconds (measured with a stop watch FROM a cold boot)and evertything works great.
BUY IT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!!

I own this laptop for about 4 month - and I am very satisfied, because this laptop has everything what I want - big memory, fast, portable. Also I can burn CDs or DVDs, absolutely everything. Also it is really good looking. I would recommend it to a friend (it may be a little heavy for portable laptop.)

I purchased two of these and they are both dead after only 13 & 15 months. This is my third dead sony laptops in the last 3 years.
